I'm not a "philosophy stud" (whatever that is).

How hard would it have been (no pun intended) to casually work in a reference to the classical concept of Man and happiness, followed by a not so subtle allusion to Ovid's Ars Amores? From there, it's a short hop to "This is too complicated to discuss over the internet. How about continuing this over dinner?"
