In Reply to: Does America really support Iraqi people? posted by newman on Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at 05:37:06 :
American president George W. Bush just wants to keep the war train going he and his government have installed since the 11 sept. Bush is only popular in America because of the patriotism he seems to light up in the people. And for this popularity to remain he needs the war in motion. Iraq just comes right in the way. Easy to see through.
: America all of a sudden awakens to the great injustice it has committed to the Iraqi people by allowing Saddam to stay in power after Kuwait's liberation in 1991, and decides to aid the people of Iraq to get rid of their dictator Saddam...this as a whole sounds really good, and the Iraqi people will at long last breath the fresh winds of Freedom for a change.
: The question here, is a giant & big WHY???
: Don't miss understand me, we Iraqis are really thrilled with the prospect of throwing Saddam into the great history's rubbish dump where he belongs once & for all, but why now?? is it really because of the 11 Sept. attacks that America started to tighten the loose ends that it had neglected for ages??
: Don't you think that American comprehension is at stake in here??
: to put it in other words: Are all American policy makers idiots who need a blow on the face to wake up?
: I really would like to know every body's opinions about the present American motives as far as Iraq is conserned.
