: Science is now possiblly valid and whether one believes the universe might be deterministic decides what again? If the universe is deterministic, there is nothing to decide. In fact, one can't really "decide" anything. If it is not, there is nothing to decide regarding how deterministic it is, any more than we need to consider blue cows when we make decisions. What else is your point?
