Why is it that philosophy and psychology often exclude each other? I mean, why is it that what the philosophers say about the ego isn't the same what the psychologists say about it?
What's the meaning of the fact that all of our thinking is based on chemical reactions and eletric processes in the brain? Do we, in order to understand ourselves, have to understand those functions, and only them? Is all the talk about transcendance and/or enlightenment bs because it all depends on our base brain functions and not at all on ourselves considered to be so almighty?
