"Being and Nothingness" is ripped off from Heidegger who ripped off someone else (whose name escapes me). BUT, that said, it is way more readable than Heidegger, and yes, it is the ultimate freedom to realise that there is no meaning and to have to work from the ground up, without recourse to GOD, in defining your being for yourself.
