Yeh, I wonder if there is a philosophy gene. There is a time period in child development when kids say,"No," a lot. I think it is part of the "terrible two's." I didn't go through that phase. My recurring question to absolutely everything was,"Why?" It drove my parents crazy. I also commonly asked people who created God? One of my mother's favorite memories in this area was what I asked her when I was about two- "Why is a dog not a horse?" She would always respond to those questions by pausing, looking at the ceiling, and then saying in a baffled, high-pitch voice, "Spencer, I... don't... know!" The funny thing is that I still haven't really found the answers to those questions.
