Existentialism
Franz Kafka (1883 - 1924) |
Du
hast mich letzthin einmal gefragt, warum ich behaupte,
ich hätte Furcht vor Dir. |
Kafka
was born in a jewish familiy in Prague in 1883. His life was
a constant fight against himself his father and life. He studied
law, and framed himself in a frustrated image, in contrast with
his father, a succesful bussiness man and family chief. His
books, plenty of a painful acceptation of fate questioned the
relationship between the individual and the powers, that being
family, state, force.
The
metamorphose shows the situation of a man that has accepted
his enviroment
as
fate, with guilt, provocked by his family. He wakes up one day,
and found out he was converted in to an insect.
Some
of his works that could be situated on the edge of surrealism,
approaches to Dino Buzzatti, Italian surrealist and absurdist.
Melancholy, never expressed, could be found inside of this false
resignation and the traces of the main characters that develop
a constantly growing feeling of sickness and isolation.
You
amaze me, you amaze me. I thought you were a quiet, dependable
person, and now all at once you seem bent on making a disgraceful
exhibition of yourself. kafka. the metamorphose
Ce
qu'on fait n'est jamais compris mais seulement loué ou blâmé.
